Financial Incentives


Due to the demanding nature of this specific occupational field , obstetrician/ gynecology specialists are among the top ranking in medicine in relation to salary earnings. Salaries differ with respect to the various acquired years of experience, various practicing locations, commitment hours, specialty skills, and overall reputation. The average annual salary is between $132,000 and $240,000, and this is highly attributed to the occupations scarcity. Aside from being granted supreme health insurance, obstetricians and gynecologists are generally endowed with various benefits such as sick leave, paid vacation, bonuses, social security and retirement plans, however those who are self employed and work in their own private practice must provide their own insurance and retirement plans.
